When working with clients or artists, we believe that 50% of any job is about getting started right. You really want to work with someone who knows exactly what they’re doing, right? Laying the creative groundwork is important even before a single note is played.

It can be complicated to describe music with words only. Try to explain your favorite band to a person who has never heard it. Or write down what it sounds like. It's a challenge.

So we've developed tools for communication to make it easier in the creative process.

One of our tools for larger projects is “Audio Moodboards”. We create an interactive tool with videos, audioclips, pictures, keywords and text – all used to help communicate with our client (and in some case the client's client) about the approach we're going with.

These Audio Moodboards can sometimes circulate 2 or 3 rounds, and gradually become a refined blueprint of what we need to achieve.

We see it as our job – to help you find that exact sound or feeling – that fits your brand ID, animation, game, fashion show, album or movie. Our extended knowledge about music should be used to inspire you, and should even be an interesting and playful journey.

Michael, the founder, has a background as an Art Director from Advertising agencies, and an education in communication. This is a clear advantage when sitting on the other side of the table.

Getting on the right page is the most important step of the process. It's a constructive way of getting on the right track and a helpful and important tool for everyone. When we’re satisfied we’re on the same page - we head to the studio, and create the first demo.
